Instructing Gabriel
Can Gabriel Fadipe assist me?
If instructed through the Direct Access scheme, Gabriel Fadipe can:
Provide legal advice and opinions
Draft legal documents
Assist you to draft letters and other documents during the case
Represent you in court
You will be responsible for organising the case documents, writing letters and carrying out other tasks that a solicitor would otherwise ordinarily do.
In the event that Gabriel thinks that your case needs the additional assistance of a solicitor, then he will be able to advise you accordingly.
Gabriel Fadipe accepts instructions from all over the world. Gabriel is fluent in French and has basic knowledge of Spanish.
How to instruct Gabriel Fadipe
Please send an email setting out the background of the matter together with all of the relevant documentation attached, and we will be able to confirm Gabriel’s fees and likely turnaround time.
As with all Direct Access instructions, and before Gabriel can carry out any work on the matter, we will require the following from you:
Proof of address (utility bill dated within the past 6 months);
Proof of identity (driving licence/passport photo page);
A signed copy of Counsel’s Engagement Letter (which we will provide and will detail the scope of work and fee for the same); and
Payment of Gabriel’s fee upfront.
How Gabriel Fadipe’s fees are calculated
Gabriel’s fees depend on a variety of factors including the type of hearing, the type of work including the size of the claim and also the volume of papers involved.
Our fees for Gabriel Fadipe are reasonable and transparent. Each enquiry is dealt with on an individual basis and you will need to provide Gabriel with as much information as possible about your case together with copies of all the relevant documents, this will make it easier for him to provide you with a clear indication of the costs involved so that a fixed fee can be agreed for the work that you need him to do. The work involved in the fixed fee will be clearly set out in the letter of engagement and payment will need to be made in advance of Gabriel carrying out the work.
We are unable to give you any guidelines of the cost of a hearing or advice until we have received all the relevant information and documents from you.
Direct Access Scheme
Using the Direct Access Scheme enables those who have the time and ability, to conduct litigation themselves, and to have complete control of their case, without being reliant on a solicitor. You can feel confident that Gabriel Fadipe will guide you through the process and will represent you in the event that your case comes to court.
Many of Gabriel’s clients instruct him under the Direct Access Scheme which can provide benefits in terms of cost and time savings. However you can also instruct Gabriel through your solicitor.
